Call for Participation "International Summer School on Social Human-Robot Interaction"  26 – 30 August 2013, Cambridge, organised by Prof Tony Belpaeme (Plymouth University), Dr Yiannis Demiris (Imperial College), Prof Kerstin Dautenhahn (University of Hertfordshire), Dr Farshid Amirabdollahian (University of Hertfordshire).

The International Summer School on Social Human-Robot Interaction welcomes PhD students and early career researchers for an a wide-ranging programme of lectures, discussions and hands-on ateliers on topics such as social signal processing, robotics and autism, child-robot interaction, multi-modal communication, natural language interaction, smart environments, robot assisted therapy, interaction design for robots, tools and technologies, and ethics.

Interested students need to apply to the summer school via the online application process. Applications are accepted until 30 April 2013. There are a limited number of scholarships available which cover participation and accommodation fees. Full fees are available to non-European participants, while European participants can apply for reduced fees.
